It’s Raining Cans In Phoenix Arizona

There’s been a whole lot of stuff going on this week in Phoenix, not even counting the big NFL game Sunday.

There was a golf event there evidently. I don’t know much about it, because it didn’t involve windmills, closing alligator mouths, colored golf balls, or putter only play.

The Waste Management Phoenix Open has been going on, and I guess a Tiger won it because it sounds like he had the highest score.

It had been raining earlier in the week in Phoenix.  When golfer Francesco Molinari shot a hole in one (It’s In The Hole!) on the par 3 16th hole Saturday, it began raining aluminum. Cans. Spectators showed their elation by chucking beer cans all over the place.

Good thing the Phoenix Open is sponsored by Waste Management. They sound like they know how to deal with that kind of ordeal.
