The LA Times reported that new Dodger Andruw Jones seems to be disagreeing with the philosophy and statements recently made by his superagent Scott Boras.
Boras has noted that Jones’ short term contract with the Dodgers would allow Jones to quickly get back into the free agent market (which is of course a ka-ching for Boras).
Jones is saying not so fast, that he wants to avoid that and will discuss an extension any time.
This is the lastest blip for Scott Boras who recently lost MLB clients Kenny Rogers and Alex Rodriguez due to differing opinions on details of their career.
Don’t cry for Boras though as he still has a large bevy of current stars and more importantly, likely future superstars.
